A full-stack product team that designs, builds and runs the software it ships. The same people do all three, which is the whole reason the model works.
Most projects need three vendors: one to design, one to build, one to keep it alive. Everything expensive happens in the gaps between them — the requirement that did not survive the handoff, the performance problem nobody owns, the launch where each party is confident it was someone else’s job.
We are all three. There is no handoff because there is nobody to hand off to.
What we believe, concretely
- The people who write the software should be the people who run it. Nothing improves an architecture like carrying the pager for it.
- Native where native matters, and a good web app where it does not. Both answers are available and we will tell you which one you need.
- The cloud account belongs to the client. We keep the work by doing it well, not by holding the keys.
- Published prices. If the budget and the project do not match, both of us want to know that today.
- All development in the United States, by the team you met.
Where we are
Avenel, New Jersey. We work across the New York metro area and remotely throughout the United States — most engagements run remotely, with in-person sessions where they earn their keep: kickoff, architecture, and the week before a launch.
How we take on work
We take on a small number of projects at a time and staff them properly, rather than a large number staffed thinly. That means we sometimes say no, or propose a start date further out than you wanted.
It also means the team on your project in month six is the team from month one.
Questions people actually ask
How big is the team?
Small and deliberately so. You meet the engineers who will be on your project before you sign, and they are the same people a year later. If a specific headcount matters for your procurement, ask and we will tell you.
Do you work with clients outside New Jersey?
Yes, throughout the United States. Most engagements run remotely with occasional in-person sessions. Being in the New York metro area means we can be in a room quickly when that is what a decision needs.
What kind of projects do you turn down?
Work under roughly $3,000, where a specialist or a good template serves you better. Projects where nobody can make a decision. And anything where the compliance scope is beyond what we should responsibly take on — we would rather say so than learn it in month four.
