04 What we build

Sites that load fast,
rank, and can be
edited without us.

Marketing sites and storefronts built bespoke — never a purchased theme — with Core Web Vitals and accessibility in scope from the first sprint rather than audited at the end.

A slow site is a conversion problem before it is a ranking problem. We treat performance as a build constraint rather than a phase: responsive image pipelines, self-hosted fonts, no CDN framework tax, and a Lighthouse score that is part of the definition of done.

The second constraint is editability. If your marketing team has to file a ticket to change a headline, the site will be out of date within a quarter no matter how good it looked at launch.

What a website build includes

  1. Bespoke design, never a purchased theme
  2. WordPress, a headless CMS or static — chosen to fit your team, not the trend
  3. Shopify and custom commerce with real checkout tuning
  4. Technical SEO, structured data and Core Web Vitals in scope from the start
  5. Analytics, tag management and conversion tracking that actually fires
  6. Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, measured rather than asserted

Questions people actually ask

How much does a website cost?

Bespoke marketing sites start around $3,000 and most land between $8,000 and $25,000 depending on page count, integrations and how much content needs writing. Commerce builds start around $8,000 and run to $75,000, because checkout, tax, fulfilment and payment edge cases are where the real work is. Ranges and three worked examples are published on the pricing page.

Do you use WordPress?

Often, and never with a purchased theme. WordPress is an excellent editing surface when the theme is built for the client rather than bought and bent into shape. When a team would be better served by a headless CMS or a static build, we say so — the choice follows who has to maintain it.

Will our team be able to edit the site?

Yes, and that is a design requirement rather than a training problem. Editable regions are built as editable regions, with real previews and no way to break the layout by pasting in a long headline.

Do you do SEO?

We do the technical half — structure, schema, performance, crawlability, internal linking — as part of the build, and ongoing content and authority work as a retained digital service. We do not sell rankings, because nobody can.
