What this site collects and what happens to it. It is short because the site does not do much.
This policy covers this website. It does not cover software we build and run for clients — that is governed by the agreement with the client, who is the controller of their own users’ data.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you fill in the contact form, we receive what you typed: your name, email address, optionally your company, and your message.
- Server logs. Our web server records requests, including IP address, user agent and the page requested. This is ordinary operational logging used for security and debugging.
Why we have it
To reply to you, and to keep the site running and secure. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile of you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up a thread you started last year. Server logs rotate on a short cycle.
Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will, and confirm it.
Who else can see it
Our hosting provider, and the email provider that carries the message to us. Both process the data on our instructions.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set a session cookie if you log in to the administration area, which is only relevant to us.
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email us and we will do it — there is no form and no process to navigate.
Tell us what you are trying to ship.
A real technical opinion back within two business days — not a sales call.
