03 What we build

Android, tested on
the phones people
actually own.

Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, run on real hardware across screen sizes and manufacturer skins — not just the newest flagship in an emulator.

Android is not one device, it is a distribution. An app that is flawless on a current Pixel can be unusable on the three-year-old mid-range handset a large share of your users are holding, and the emulator will never tell you. We test on the real spread.

What an Android build includes

  1. Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, Material 3
  2. Play Store release tracks, staged rollouts and Play Console setup
  3. Real-device testing across screen sizes and manufacturer skins
  4. Biometrics, Google Pay, location and background services
  5. Shared business logic with iOS where it earns its keep
  6. Play Integrity, ProGuard and release signing configured properly

Questions people actually ask

How much does an Android app cost?

The same band as iOS — most builds land between $40,000 and $150,000 — and building both together costs meaningfully less than the two separately, because the API, the data model and the business logic are shared. Full ranges are on the pricing page.

Which Android versions do you support?

We target current minus two by default, which covers the overwhelming majority of active devices without dragging deprecated APIs through the codebase. If your analytics show an older long tail that matters commercially, we widen it and tell you what that costs.

Can you take over an Android app someone else built?

Yes. We start with a paid assessment: a written opinion on the code, the release setup and the Play Console configuration, and an honest answer on whether it is worth continuing or rebuilding. About half the time the answer is continue.
